TERMS AND CONDITIONS – DAEWOO BATTERY WEBSITE

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Daewoo Battery website (daewoobattery.com), including all subpages, the shop, and tools such as the battery selector. By accessing or using the site, you agree to these Terms. Daewoo Battery reserves the right to modify them at any time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

ELIGIBILITY AND ACCOUNT USE

You must be at least 18 years old to use the site or create an account. Provide accurate registration information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and all activities conducted thereunder. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.

ORDERS, PAYMENTS, AND INSTALLMENT OPTIONS

Customers may place orders through our official website or authorized platforms. Product listings, such as automotive batteries (e.g., DL/R 55 at ₨11,564) and UPS models (e.g., DIB-110), constitute offers to sell subject to availability. Prices are in PKR, exclude taxes and shipping unless specified, and may change without notice. Orders are confirmed by email; we reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders due to stock shortages, pricing errors, or suspected fraud. Payments are processed securely via approved methods. Customers may avail installment plans through partner platforms such as Alfa Mall, subject to eligibility and platform terms.

SHIPPING, DELIVERY, AND COVERAGE

All orders are delivered directly to the customer's doorstep. We strive to ensure fast and reliable same-day delivery in major cities. Shipments are limited to addresses within Pakistan, with estimated delivery of 3-7 business days from Lahore or Faisalabad facilities. Delivery timelines may vary depending on location and availability. Free delivery is available in major cities including Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad, Faisalabad, and Multan. For locations outside these cities or in remote areas, additional delivery charges may apply based on distance and accessibility. Daewoo Battery is not liable for delays caused by logistics providers, weather, or force majeure. Inspect deliveries upon receipt and report damages within 48 hours. All products are delivered through authorized channels only.

BATTERY EXCHANGE POLICY

Customers may provide their old battery at the time of delivery. The value of the old battery will be adjusted in the final invoice. If no old battery is available, the full amount will be charged.

WARRANTIES

We provide warranties on our batteries as per the following categories:

• Maintenance-Free Batteries (Automotive): 15 Months warranty, designed for vehicle usage.
• DIB Series (UPS / Solar): 12 Months warranty.
• DSS Series (UPS / Backup): 6 Months warranty.

Each battery is provided with an official warranty card. Warranty claims can be processed through authorized claim centers available in major cities; claim center details are mentioned on the warranty card. Customers are required to present the original warranty card when claiming warranty. Warranties cover manufacturing defects only, excluding misuse, improper installation, or maintenance issues. Warranty coverage is subject to terms mentioned on the warranty card.

RETURNS AND CLAIMS

Batteries are non-returnable once delivered and installed. In case of any issue, customers can claim warranty as per the applicable policy. Faulty or defective products will be handled through the official warranty claim process. Returns are accepted within 7 days for unused products in original packaging; return shipping is at your expense unless the item is defective. No refunds for custom orders or opened batteries.

WEBSITE USE

The site must be used for lawful purposes only. Prohibited activities include data scraping, transmitting malware, or unauthorized access. All intellectual property, including logos, images, and specifications, is owned by Daewoo Battery and may not be reproduced commercially.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the extent permitted by Pakistani law, Daewoo Battery, its affiliates, and suppliers disclaim all warranties beyond those expressly stated. Liability is limited to the purchase price of the product. We are not responsible for indirect, consequential damages, data loss, or third-party content.

GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTES

These policies are governed by the laws of Pakistan, with exclusive jurisdiction in the courts of Lahore. Parties agree to attempt amicable resolution before arbitration under the Pakistan Arbitration Act.

Data is used to process and deliver orders, provide customer support, send transactional emails (e.g., warranty notifications), improve services and customer experience, and deliver targeted marketing (with opt-out options).

Information may be shared only with authorized dealers, logistics partners, shipping providers, and payment processors for order fulfillment, under strict confidentiality.
